Funeral services for Billy John Hart, of Bogue Chitto, are Saturday, July 1, 2017, at 10:30 a.m at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Bogue Chitto Twin Oaks Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, June 30, 2017, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hart, 56, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at his residence. He was born Dec. 17, 1960, to Bill and Elizabeth “Penny” Smith Hart. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and just being with his family and friends. He was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist church.

Preceding him in death is his father.

Survivors are his mother; siblings, Elizabeth Ann Hart Delaughter and husband Mike, of Orange,Texas, Charles Hart and wife Dolores, of Bogue Chitto, Thomas M. Hart and wife Rebecca, of Bogue Chitto, Ken Hart, of Bogue Chitto, Kathy Sue Hart Crosby and husband Rev. Bruce Crosby, of Smithdale, and James Eugene Hart, of Bogue Chitto; aunts, Betty Hart Smith, of West Lincoln, Brenda Smith Montgomery, of Mt. Zion Community and Geraldine Smith Etheridge, of Hattiesburg; and two nephews and eight nieces.
