Funeral services for Iva Nell Nations Foster, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Fair River Baptist Church in Brookhaven with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Bobby Smith and Bro. David Fortenberry will officiate the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Mrs. Foster, 87, died Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Haven Hall Nursing Home in Brookhaven. She was born March 19, 1930, in Lincoln County to Versie and Iva Smith Nations. She enjoyed interior decorating for people and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and wife.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Arthur Melvin “Ed” Foster; son, Dean Foster; brother, V.C. Nations Jr., sister-in-law, Amaryllis Nations; and brother-in-law Malcolm Wallace.

Survivors are her daughter-in-law, Linda Foster of Brookhaven; sister, Annalo Wallace of Madison; brother, John Paul Nations (Sue) of Brookhaven; niece, Paula Yancey (Jim) of Moss Point; nephews, Dr. Mickey Wallace of Madison, Freddie Nations of Brookhaven, Timmy Nations of Brookhaven and Joel Nations of Brookhaven; and many friends.
