Funeral services for Bobby Burns Winborne, of Bogue Chitto, are Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation will be today, July 11, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Winborne, 82, died Saturday, July 9, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, with her loving family by her side. She was born June 1, 1935, in Lincoln County, to Roy Burns and Ida Mae Lofton Burns Williams. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Claude Vernon Winborne; five sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors are her daughters, Betty Winborne Coon and husband Dallas, of Brookhaven, and Carolyn Winborne Dunn, of Bogue Chitto; grandchildren, Patricia Coon Jenkins and husband Anthony, Dallas Dewayne Coon and wife Amanda, Chancey Dunn and Nikki Dunn; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
