Funeral services for Patsy Darlene Carson, of Brookhaven, were held Monday, July 24, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven was in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was held Sunday, July 23, 2017, from 5 until 9 p.m. at Solid Rock and continued Monday, July 24, 2017, at noon until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Carson, 64, died Friday, July 21, 2017, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville. She was born Dec. 5, 1952, to Bilbo Reed and Mamie Fisher Reed. She was a CNA and a private sitter. She was a member of Solid Rock Pentecostal Church.

Preceding her in death is her parents; Bilbo Reed, Mamie Reed and Gladys Reed; brothers, James Reed and Tim Reed; sisters, Doris Rushing and Annette Reed; one grandson, Christopher Nunnery; and one brother-in-law, Lonnie Wiley.

Survivors are her husband of 49 years, Billy Carson Sr.; sons, Billy Carson Jr. and wife Melinda, Mike Carson and wife Janice, Chris Carson and wife Scarlette, Doug Carson and Derek Carson; brothers, Ronnie Reed, Ted Barnett, Steve Barnett and Elvis Reed; sisters, Mary Wylie, Peggy Moak and Ailene Wells; 17 grandchildren, Victoria Adams, Zack Thomas, Gaby Thomas, Dyson Carson, Heather Grice, Josh Carson, Jacob Carson, Brittney Tanner, Haley Carson, Kayleigh Carson, Logan Carson, Charlie Carson, Danyell Carson, Ethan Autrey, Ashton Carson, Blake Russ and Miranda Carson; along with 11 great-grandchildren.
