Funeral services for Darrett Demond Fleming, of Union Church, are today, Aug. 12, 2017, at 3 p.m. at Hickory Block U.M. Church in Union Church with burial at the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was held Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, from 1 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Fleming, 40, died Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, in Houston, Texas. He was born July 15, 1977, in Natchez, to Johnny Glass and Martha Fleming Lacking.

Survivors are his wife, Daphne May Fleming; two daughters, Kenyana Glover and Dara’Nesya Fleming; son, Darrett Demond Fleming Jr.; and stepfather, Roy Lacking Jr.
