Funeral services for Sherrill George Case, of Brookhaven, are Saturday Sept. 2, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Hawkins Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Case, 79, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, at his residence. He was born Jan. 15, 1938. He was a member of Hawkins Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from Thames & Eady Flooring.

Preceding him in death were his parents; Dewey & Ruby Phillips Case; sisters, Nell Case Dickey and Maurice Case Franklin; and brother, Gerald Case.

Survivors are his wife, Susan Thames Case; daughter, Tammy Case Wilkinson and husband Roger; sisters, Virginia Case Wilson and Rose Case Wallace; granddaughter, Brittany Wilkinson Prestridge and husband Grant; great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Elizabeth Prestridge; special nephew that was like a son, Kyle Franklin; stepgranddaughters, Heather Atwood and husband Michael and step greatgranddaughter, Gracie Rae Hutchinson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
