Sylvarena Baptist Church, in cooperation with the Copiah and Lincoln Baptist associations and surrounding churches, have put together a Hurricane Harvey disaster relief drive.

A truck will be at Poppa’s Fish House parking lot today and Friday to receive donations from 10 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Supplies requested are soap, blankets, shampoo, brushes, baby diapers, baby wipes, toothbrushes and similar items. Any and all donations will be accepted.

“We are trying to share our love for the thousands of families that have suffered during the past hurricane,” said Sylvarena Baptist member Misty Britt. “Let’s show Texas some Mississippi love.”
