Coleman wedding

Orionna Brumfield and Kristopher Coleman were united in marriage Oct. 8, 2017, at Grace Community Church in Brookhaven.

The bride is the daughter of Jenice Brumfield-Williams and step daughter of Dontray Williams. She is the granddaughter of the late Clyde and Mary Brumfield and step granddaughter of Daisy Chapman and the late Fred Chapman.

The groom is the son of Frank and Patrina Collins. He is the grandson of James Coleman and the late Christine Coleman.

Mrs. Coleman is a 2016 graduate of Jackson State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications. She is employed as an advertising consultant for The Daily Leader and is owner of I am Med’I’a Inc.

Mr. Coleman is a 2009 graduate of Brookhaven High School. He is employed as a salesman for Sears in Brookhaven and is a musician.

Simone Louise Layton, Tanetta Shantae Benson and Shana Monic Brumfield — sister of the bride — were bridal attendants.

Johnny Lee Waller Jr., Pierre Holloway and Corinthian Reshaude Sims were groom attendants.

Rev. Phillip Sterling officiated the wedding.

“My wedding was everything I prayed for it to be, and I’m so blessed,” Brumfield-Coleman said, “It was amazing to feel the Holy Spirit fill the room as my husband and I confessed our love for each other.”
