Funeral services for Billie Marle Kees, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Jericho Church of Christ in Wesson with burial at the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, Oct. 31, 2017, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kees, 61, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born Aug. 20, 1956, in Copiah County Melvin Dixon and Earline Sanders Richardson.

Survivors are her father, Melvin Dixon, of Los Angeles, California; daughter, Shasta Regina (David) Bryant, of Brookhaven; granddaughter, Gayla Williams, of Brookhaven; five sisters, Dorothy “Mandy” Johnson, of Brookhaven, Helen Byrd (Howard Kelly), of Brookhaven, Lessie Dixon, and Bobbie (Roy) Smith, of Los Angeles, California, and Darris Smith, of Wesson; two brothers, Cornell (Brenda) Sanders, of McComb and Walter (Carolyn) Dixon, of Los Angeles, California; and a host of other relatives.
