Graveside services for Terry Stephen “Steve” Swalm Jr., of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery in Brookhaven. Rev. Glen Martin will officiate the services. Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Swalm, 73, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at Country Brook Living Center in Brookhaven. He was born Nov. 3, 1943, to Terry Swalm Sr. and Kathryn Felder Swalm. He was a 1961 graduate of Brookhaven High and also graduated from the University of Mississippi, where he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife of 47 years, Vicky Swalm; daughters, Christi Chandler and husband Blair, and Meredith Swalm; son, Trey Swalm; grandchildren, Asher Swalm, Bayli Ballard Chandler, Phen Chandler and Kaden Hornyak; sister, Anna Kathryn Brown and husband A.C.; brother-in-law, Rev. Ronnie Burch; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
