Funeral services for Wessie Smith, of Brookhaven, are Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven, with burial in New Salem Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation was Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, from 5 until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue today, Nov. 14, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Bro. Michael Cain will officiate.

Ms. Smith, 93, died Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017. Her parents were Hamilton and Mamie Norton Smith.

Mrs. Smith was a loving and caring lady who will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 57 years, Paul B. Smith; brothers, Holon, Colton, Robert L. and Leroy Smith; sister, Irene Smith; daughter-in-law, Ann Smith; and grandson, Greg Smith.

Survivors are her sons, Paul Curtis Smith and wife Sylvia, Jimmy Smith and wife Cheryl, and Probie Smith and wife Wanda; daughter, Faye Callender and husband Clayton; sisters, Nellie Jackson and Rowena Maxwell; sister-in-law, Polly Smith; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brady Badon, Walker Smith, Mckinely Smith, Cole Smith, Nicholas Smith, Clay Callender and Alex Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Powell Smith, Grant Smith, Peyton Badon and Luke Smith.
