Funeral services for Eris Hart Williams, of Moss Point, were held Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bro. Gene Erwin and Bro. Wayne Moak officiated the services.

Visitation was held Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m.

Mrs. Williams, 94, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, at Ocean Springs Medical Center. She was born Aug. 23, 1923, in Brookhaven to Robert M. Hart and Daisy Peevey Hart. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and taking care of her animals.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Julius Benton Williams; parents; sister, Pauline Jones; and her brothers, Dedrick Hart and Paul Hart.

Survivors are her daughter, Paula Vance (Bill), of Brookhaven; son, Bro. David Williams (Salena), of Moss Point; grandchildren, Will Vance, Kyle Williams, Kris Williams, Josh Vance and Kaci Williams Sala; great-grandchildren, Conner Vance, Claudia Claire Vance, Avyn Williams, Ayla Williams, Charlotte Williams, Caroline Williams; and a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mrs. Eris’ name may be made to the ministry of your choice.
