Brookhaven Fire Department responds to medical call, trash fire over weekend; area reports

Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a medical call at 11:18 a.m. Friday on Hwy. 51. They also responded to a trash fire with no injuries at 6:43 p.m. Saturday on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

The Wesson Police Department reported no activity Friday through Sunday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 10:36 p.m. Saturday on I-55 near exit 38. They also responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 2:21 a.m. Sunday on I-55 near mile marker 31.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 58 calls Friday through Sunday. Thirty were transfers, with 13 to Jackson, three to Pike County, three in the city and one in the county. There were 48 emergency calls; 33 medical, with 24 in the city and nine in the county; two traumas, with one in the city and one in the county; three MVAs in the county.
