Funeral services for Kirby Conrad Smith, of Terry, are Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, 82, died Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at his residence. He was born Jan. 8, 1935, to Willie Hewitt Smith and Grace Dexter Smith. He was employed with Mississippi Department of Transportation as a draftsman. He served his country in the United States Army and National Guard. He was a member of Crystal Springs Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty Jo Allen, Elaine Prouty; and brothers, Maurice Smith and Willie “Bubba” Hewitt Smith.

Survivors are his wife of 54 years, Barbara Jean Smith; son, Kirby H. Smith; daughter, Angie Leah Smith; sisters, Arva Pearl Smith, and Neva Smith and one grandchild, Gunner Smith.
