Funeral services for Lois Marie Albritton Hart, of Brookhaven, are today, Dec. 12, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park. Rev. Greg Warnock will officiate the services.

Visitation will be today, Dec. 12, 2017, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hart, 92, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2017. She was the daughter of John Albritton and Katie Lee Brown Albritton Freeman. She was a retired clerk for the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Brookhaven. She was a member of the Joy Choir. She was very involved in her community, serving in the LLL, ILR and volunteering at KDMC.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hoyte Hart; brother, Donald Albritton; sisters, Kathleen Albritton, Mavis Travis, Carolyn Blalock; granddaughters, Michaelle Davis, Cissy Grisham; and great-grandson, Landen Grisham.

Survivors are her sons, Deron Hart and wife Liz, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and David Hart and wife Gena, of Brookhaven; daughters, Diane Davis, of Brookhaven, and Connie Boyd and husband Larry, of Brookhaven; brothers, Tom “Reggie” Freeman, Larry Freeman, and Lamar Freeman, all from Baton Rouge, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
