A memorial service for Tom Frank Kirkpatrick Jr., of Brookhaven, will be Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Hawkins Chapel Methodist Church. A private burial will follow the service.

Mr. Kirkpatrick, 52, died Sunday, Dec.10, 2017, at his residence. He was born Feb.10, 1965, in Starkville, to Tom Frank Kirkpatrick Sr. and the late Judith Ann Entrican Kirkpatrick. He graduated from Jackson Academy in 1983 and the University of Mississippi in 1987, where he was an active member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He served in the United States Army as first lieutenant and was a former member of the Mississippi National Guard Reserves.

He spent most of his adult life in Jackson, Brookhaven and Starkville. He had an undeniable love for his two daughters, Indie and Mallory and a passion for Texas country music.

He is preceded in death by his mother; and nephew, Alan E. Stallings III.

Survivors are his father; daughters, Elizabeth Indie Kirkpatrick, of Three Rivers, Texas, and Mallory Day Kirkpatrick, of Birmingham, Alabama; sister, Carrie Ann Stallings, and her husband, Alan E. Stallings Jr., of Jackson; and niece, Ann Walt Stallings of Boston, Massachusetts.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Kirkpatrick’s name to The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, P.O. Box 804, Brookhaven, MS, 39602.
