Bill Ray and Frances Elizabeth Rushing Mullins, of Wesson, will celebrate 60 years of marriage on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017.

The couple was married at the home of Rev. Purser Davis, pastor of Ramah Baptist Church in Lincoln County, in 1957.

Their family includes four children — Anthony Lionel Mullins of Serepta, Louisiana; Tina Elizabeth Mullins Ladner of Brandon; Timothy Duane Mullins of Northport, Alabama; and Tanya Lynn Flake Cain of Columbia, South Carolina — 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Mullins is retired from a career as an industrial engineer. Mrs. Mullins was a homemaker and is retired from Copiah-Lincoln Child Care.
