Funeral services for LaVerne C. Temple, of Brookhaven, are Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Temple, 70, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven.  She was born Dec. 12, 1947, to the late Vaughn and Dorothy Campbell. She was a retired receptionist for the Southwest Mississippi Nephrology Clinic.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Jimmy Lane Temple Jr.; brother, Bubba Campbell; and sister Dottie Hanson.

Survivors are her husband, Jimmy Lane Temple Sr.; son, Brad Temple and wife Natasha; brothers, Steve Campbell and John Campbell; sisters, Olive McDowell and Minnie Campbell; two grandchildren, Samantha Reeves and husband Cody, and Ryan Temple and wife Courtney; and three great-grandchildren, Ryder and Remy Reeves and Charleigh Temple.
