Funeral services for Marilyn Diane Wallace, of Brookhaven, are Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Edwards Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be today, Dec. 27, 2017, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wallace, 70, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2017. She was born Dec. 2, 1947, to Willie and Lillie Mae Anding. She was retired as a deli clerk and a lifelong member of Brookhaven Church of God. She was loving mother and grandmother and loved her family, hummingbirds and flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Chris Covington; husband, Ricky Edwards; brother, Maxie Anding; sisters, Linda Sue Bowman, Irma Joyce Hayes, and Helen Lorraine Durr; and son-in-law, John Bennett.

Survivors are her husband, Richard Monroe Wallace; sons, Greg Covington, Kevin Edwards and wife Beth, and Jeramie Edwards; daughters, Vicky Edwards Bennett and Dana Edwards Smith and husband Rob; seven grandchildren, Jarred Bennett, Richard Edwards, Devin Edwards, Evan Edwards, Kaylon Bennett, Raigan Smith and Kaylea Smith; and great-granddaughter, Jessi Claire Bennett.
