Funeral services for Jimmie Lee Townsend Sr., of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Grace Community Church in Brookhaven with burial at Mt. Pisgah A.M.E. Church Cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, Jan. 5, 2018, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Townsend, 85, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, at Haven Hall Nursing Home in Brookhaven. He was born Feb. 14, 1932, to Theodore Townsend and Mattie Benson Townsend.
