The Monticello Fire Department responded to a chimney fire at 7:09 p.m. Wednesday on Hwy. 184. No injuries were reported.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department responded to a possible electrical fire at 1:19 a.m. Wednesday on Sylvarena Road. No injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 22 calls Wednesday. Nine were transfers, with four to Jackson, three to Pike County and two in the county. There were 13 emergency calls; 12 medical, with six in the city and six in the county; and one trauma in the county.
