Funeral services for Hazel W. Patterson, of Jackson, formerly of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Kynett Pilgrim United Methodist Church in Brookhaven with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Tedric Thompson will officiate the service. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements. 

Visitation will be Friday, Jan.12, 2018, from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Patterson, 86, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson. She was born June 30, 1931. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
