The Wesson Police Department issued a citation for possession of a controlled substance Wednesday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to an accident involving two vehicles without injuries at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on Hwy. 84. They also responded to a single vehicle accident at 2:11 p.m. Wednesday on I-55 near exit 24. No injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 25 calls Wednesday. Seven were transfers, with four to Jackson, one to Lawrence County and two in the county. There were 18 emergency calls; 15 medical, with 10 in the city and five in the county; and three MVAs in the county.
