The Lincoln County annual Sale of Champions will be Monday at 6 p.m. at the Lincoln Civic Center.

Tickets are available for the steak dinner and sale, which includes the following Lincoln County 4-H and FFA consignments: one steer, seven lambs, 13 goats and five hogs.

Buyers are needed to purchase a market animal for consumption, purchase a market animal for credit for market value and buddy buys, where funds from multiple buyers are pooled to purchase a market animal.

Sumrall said the sale provides local 4-H’ers and FFA members a market for their livestock projects. The youth involved sell their project animals for a premium and use the money to fund future livestock projects or to save for college expenses.
