Funeral services for Bonnell Pepper, of Brookhaven, are Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Church of Christ with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is today, Jan. 24, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. She will lie in state Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Pepper, 88, died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2018, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born Oct. 21, 1929.

Preceding her in death were her mother, Lou Roberts; husband, Marlon A. Pepper; son, Don Pepper; brother, C.L. Day; and daughter-in-law, Barbara L. Pepper.

Survivors are her sons, Roger Pepper and wife Joe Ann, Randy Pepper and wife Jill, Tim Pepper and wife Renee, Terry Pepper and wife Judy; daughter-in-law, Peggy Pepper; brother Roy Roberts; sister, Ruby Crane; sisters-in-law, Josie Wright, Ruth Newman and Catherine Day; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
