Funeral services for Curtis Leroy Johnson, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. at New Vision Fellowship in Brookhaven with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Johnson, 67, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at his residence. He was born Oct. 31, 1950, in Holcomb, to Walter G. Norwood and Margaret Means Benson.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Monzola Harris; brothers, June Johnson and Glenn Benson; and sister, Margaret Ann Benson.

Survivors are his daughter, Kimira (Trone) Jefferson, of Atlanta, Georgia; granddaughter, Grace Savannah; two brothers, Andre (Phyllis) Benson, of California, Larry (Jessica) Benson, of Illinois; five sisters, Patricia (Calvin) McCranie, of Wisconsin, Jennifer (Chris) Bradley, of Illinois, Brenda Crosby, of Illinois, Diane (Eric) Staples-Swift, of Mississippi, Lillion Ross; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; and good neighbor and friend, Burnell Mackey.
