Graveside services for Ella Louise Young Smith, of Brookhaven, are Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at 3 p.m. at New Sight Baptist Church Cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, from 1 until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Smith, 89, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018. She was born Nov. 4, 1928, to Perlie Young and Minerva Herring Young. She was a upholsterer and a member of New Sight Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 70 years, Edward Earl Smith; and her parents.

Survivors are her son, T-Tommy Smith and wife Cynthia, of Brookhaven; grandsons, Josh S. Smith and wife Tammy, of Brookhaven and Derek Smith, of Brooklyn, New York; great-grandson, Hayden Smith; and many other friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Children’s Village in Mrs. Smith’s name.
