Funeral services for Helen Wallace White, of Crocker, Missouri, formerly of Brookhaven, are Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) with burial at Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bro. Billy Joe Deer will officiate the services.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018, from noon until time of services at the funeral home. A visitation was held for Mrs. White on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018, in the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Chapel, in Crocker, Missouri.

Mrs. White, 84 died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018, in the Miller County Care Center, in Tuscumbia, Missouri. She was born Jan. 14, 1934, in Bogue Chitto, to Lonnie and Mamie McCaffrey Wallace, and was raised by Hugh and Lillian Magee. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church in Brookhaven and was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was united in marriage on April 15, 1979, in Louisiana, to Isy “Evon” White.

Preceding her in death are her husband; parents; family that raised her; brothers, Edward, Charles, Wesley and James Wallace; and sisters, Marguerite Warren and Quida Magee Ford.

Survivors are her daughters, Tina Sutton and husband Roger, of Crocker, Missouri, and Gina (Cole) Walsh, of St. Charles, Missouri; stepson, David White and wife Gayle and their family, of Mississippi; brother, Billy Wallace and wife Bonnie, of Brookhaven; seven grandchildren, Michael Arnold, Marlena (Armando) Perez, Malisa (Benjamin) Adams, Matthew Arnold, Adam Cole, Noah (Maribeth) Cole and Whitney Cole; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested by the family to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Mrs. White’s name.
