Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a smoke scare at 12:40 p.m. Thursday on Kramer Lane. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a potential gas leak at 6:33 p.m. Thursday on Cedar Street.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Thursday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries Thursday on I-55.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 7:27 p.m. Thursday on Hwy. 84.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 15 calls Thursday. Four were transfers, with two to Jackson, one in the county and one in the city. There were 11 emergency calls; six medical, with four in the city and two in the county; Four traumas, with two in the city and two in the county; and one MVA in the county.
