Shasta Breland and Roger Bryant, of Brookhaven, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Porsha Rene’ Breland, of Brookhaven, to Antonio Joefield Pittman, of Monticello.

He is the son of Aaron Pittman and Queen Ester Pittman, of Monticello.

Miss Breland is the granddaughter of Patricia Breland and the late Williard Breland; Linda Bryant of Brookhaven; and James Tillman of Bogue Chitto. She is great-granddaughter of Eligah Kelly, the late Clara Bell Kelly, and the late Rosie Lee Thompson.

Mr. Pittman is the grandson of Evenlash Rhodes, of New Hebron; and the late Bernice and Garfield Pittman, of Monticello.

The bride-to-be is a 2017 GED graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She is a licensed hair braider and will enroll in the cosmetology program at Copiah-Lincoln. She is employed at Poppa’s Fish House.

The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Lawrence County High School. He is employed at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at the Lincoln Civic Center Multi-Purpose Building. A reception will follow at the same location.
