Funeral services for Lottie Gale Bright Frank, of Brookhaven, are Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Johnson Grove Church of Christ in Bogue Chitto with burial at the church cemetery. Doug Kimble, Richard Root and Randy Spring will officiate the services. Hartman-Jones Funeral Home in McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, Feb. 10, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue Sunday, Feb.11, 2018, from 1 p.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Frank, 69, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born July 4, 1948, in Louisville, to the late William Allen and Drucie Medders Bright. She was a graduate of Broadmoor High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and from the nursing program at Southwest Mississippi Community College. She attended Harding University, where she met her future husband, Gary Frank. They were married to for 48 years. She was a retired registered nurse and was a special counselor after Hurricane Katrina in Gulfport and Biloxi.

She was a wonderful wife and mother and was a great example to all who knew her. She lived her life for the Lord and took great pleasure in her family. She loved to laugh and her smile was contagious. She was an excellent cook and loved to entertain and was always ready for a good card game or a road trip to her next adventure.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are her brother, Michael Lavelle Bright, of McComb; husband, Gary Frank, of Brookhaven; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Shari Frank, of McComb; son, Joseph Frank, of Oxford; son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Sara Frank, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; grandchildren, Rebekah, Rachel and Rylee Frank, of McComb; Grant, John Thomas and Olivia Frank, of Eupora; and Norah Frank of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Randy Spring, Shelton Simmons, Scott Campbell, John Thomas Frank, Blake Brewer and Grant Frank.

Honorary pallbearers are Mike Bright, William “Bill” Bright, Lewis Bright, Rebekah Frank, Rachel Frank, Rylee Frank, Norah Frank and Olivia Frank.

In lieu of flowers you may donate to the Berean Children’s Home in Brookhaven, or Camp Smiling Acres in Greensburg, Louisiana.
