Funeral services for Essie Dell Westbrook, of Bogue Chitto, are Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Adams United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Westbrook, 82, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2018. She was born Oct. 8, 1935, to Essie M. and Hilda Grace Grice. She was a graduate of Bogue Chitto High School, Class of 1954. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and being with her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents; great-granddaughter, Ashley Cheyenne Hunt; and her best friend, Donna Henline.

Survivors are her husband of 64 years, W.I. Westbrook; son, Allen Westbrook and Brenda; daughters, Christine Fauver and husband, Jeff and Nancy Callender and husband, Leeroy; and brother, Phillip Grice; five grandchildren, Preston and Blake Fauver, Rusty Callender and wife, Tanya, Christy Callender and Racheal Efurd; three great- grandchildren, Gina Callender, Victoria McCullough and husband, Austin and Taylor Brook Callender; one great-great-grandson, Dawson McNabb; and one expected great-great-grandson, Travis McCullough.
