Funeral services for Georgia Carol Smith, of Bogue Chitto, are Friday, March 2, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Ruth Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 1, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Smith, 67, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven. She was born Jan. 14, 1951, and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. She loved music and traveling and collecting lighthouses and Santa Clauses. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Russell Robert Smith and Melicent Carolyn Johnson Collison; stepfather, William Collison and brother, Russell Smith.

Survivors are her daughter, Carol Lynn Smith, of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Helene Jardine and husband, Charlie; and Lisa Collison, of Ft Pierce, Florida; nephews Kevin, Jimmie, Cody, Chuck and Brian; nieces, Carrie, Jeana, Jamie and Bailey; and her special friend, Georgie Thames.
