Funeral services for Jim Ray Williams, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 11 a.m., Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Summit.

Visitation will be Friday, March 2, 2018, from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, March 2, at the funeral home and continuing Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Mr. Jim Ray Williams, 72, of Brookhaven, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at King’s Daughter’s Medical Center in Brookhaven. He was born March 30, 1945, in McComb, to Aldon Thomas Williams and Agnes Stockton Williams. He was employed with Weyerhaueuser as a machine operator and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Silver Creek. Mr. Williams was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. After becoming a resident of Haven Hall, May 2, 2011, he enjoyed puzzle books and playing Bingo with his friends. His love of his family and friends was first and foremost in his life and his smile and sense of humor was infectious. He will certainly be missed by those who love him most.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Greg Williams, and nephew, Scott Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Laura Williams Hubner, of Summit; brothers, Don Williams (Nancy) of Summit, Harry Williams, of Braxton; sister, Myra Sue White (James), of Starkville; four grandchildren, Hailey Brianna Hubner, Sharon Rebecca Simmons, Matthew Chase Williams, Cortney Renae Williams; and two great grandchildren, Greyson Parker Williams and Kinley Grace Williams, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
