Wesson Police respond to 9 disturbance calls over the weekend; area reports

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department issued one speeding citation, one citation for no driver’s license and one citation for shoplifting Friday through Sunday. They also responded to nine disturbances Friday through Sunday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department responded to a medical call and made a transport to KDMC Friday on Greer Lane. They also responded to a medical call and made a transport to Southwest Regional Saturday on Tannahill Street. They responded to a trash fire Sunday on Tyson Road. They also responded to a single vehicle accident without injury Sunday on Sylvarena Road. They responded to a medical call and made a transport to KDMC Sunday on Smith Lane.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 10:37 p.m. Friday on Hwy. 84. Injuries were reported. They responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 3:31 p.m. on Hwy. 84.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 39 calls Friday through Sunday. Eight were transfers, with seven to Jackson and one to Vicksburg. There were 28 emergency calls; 20 medical, with 13 in the city and seven in the county; four traumas, with three in the city and one in the county; and seven MVAs, with four in the city and three in the county.
