A couple of Brookhaven High School track and field athletes showed out during the University of Southern Mississippi Invitational Track Meet last weekend. Freshman Menya Rancifer won first place in the shot put, while senior Andrew Knott placed second in the 3,200-meter race, missing the top spot by one-half second. He also placed fourth in the 1,600-meter race.
