Funeral services for Mary A. Harveston Smith, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Riverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be today, April 13, 2018, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith, 89, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018. She was born Oct. 26, 1928, to Earl and Mary Howe. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed growing her beautiful flowers, crocheting and fishing.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands, Truly A. Smith and Jack Harveston; sons, Alton Wayne Harveston and Jackie W. Harveston; daughters, Gail Harveston, Carolynn Pepper; brother, Earl Howe; grandson, Jamie LaDon Schillings great granddaughter, Carly Faith Netterville; daughter-in-law, Ruby Harveston.

Survivors are her sons, Freddie Harveston Sr., Jimmie Harveston and wife, Darlene; daughters, Dale Perone and husband, Mike, Judy Dykes and husband, Luke; daughter-in-law, Linda Harveston; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great- grandchildren; and stepchildren, Kathy Smith, Diane Pepper and Clyde Smith.
