Brookhaven trounces Loyd Star ladies, 11-4

Loyd Star watched the game slip away early, and they weren’t able to recover as Brookhaven came out with a 11-4 victory Friday in the non-district softball matchup.

Scoring four runs in the seventh inning, the Ole Brook girls put the game away.

“I felt like the game went extremely well for us, “ Lady Panthers senior Rileigh Allen said. “We had a lot of hits and our bats came around really good tonight.”
