Funeral services for Charles Dorsey Malone, of Wesson, are Friday, April 20, 2018, at 11 a.m. at New Sight Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery. Bro. Calvin Price will officiate the services. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church and will continue Friday, April 20, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mr. Malone, 68, died Monday, April 16, 2018. He was born Feb. 9, 1950, to Milfred and Georgia Thompson Malone. He was a retired automotive mechanic. He owned Malone’s Auto Service for many years, which allowed him to do what he loved, work on automobiles and help others. He also enjoyed music and in his spare time he loved playing guitar and keyboard, as well as singing gospel music with a family band. He also enjoyed traveling and camping.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Troy and Johnny Malone.

Survivors are his wife, Shirley Ann Malone; daughter, Kathy Ann Boyte and husband Kenneth; brothers, Kenneth Malone and wife Pat, and Dale Malone and wife Anita; granddaughter, Kaylen Ann Boyte; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and his chihuahua, Boo.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to his caregivers, Minnie and Lulu, and Allison and Rhonda.
