Memorial services for Alfred “Buddy” Weeks, of Brookhaven, are Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive). Bro. Ken Parvin will officiate the services.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. 

Mr. Weeks, 79, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on July 26, 1938, to Hugh Denver Weeks and Adeline Smith Weeks. He was an outdoor enthusiast. He loved to hunt, fish and enjoyed spending time with his friends at the hunting camp. In his early years he was also a lover of horses and enjoyed participating in rodeos and horse shows with the entire Weeks family.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Betty Weeks Smith and Katherine Weeks Case; and brothers, J. Hugh Weeks, Robert Earl Weeks, and Denver Gene Weeks.

Survivors are his daughters, Dr. Dena Jackson and husband Robbie, and Ginger McMillian and husband Ray; granddaughter, Mackenzie Jackson; sisters, Donis Weeks Allen and Ann Weeks Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
