Funeral services for Derric Ladell Smith, of Chicago, Illinois, are Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. at New Vision Fellowship Center in Brookhaven with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Brookhaven. Williams Mortuary in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Monday, May 21, 2018, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, 41, died Saturday, May 12, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. He was born Nov. 17, 1976, to John Magee and Phyllis Smith Anderson.
