Funeral services for Willie Mae Fauver, of Brookhaven, are today, May 19, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, with burial at Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bro. Benji Pyeatt and Bro. David Fortenberry will officiate the services.

Visitation will be today, May 19, 2018, from noon until time of service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fauver, 101, died Thursday, May 17, 2018, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born Dec. 5, 1916, in Lincoln County, to Hiram W. Dixon and Ada Wactor

Dixon. She enjoyed her family and fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Gum Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Versie Fauver; grandson, Mitchell Fauver; brothers, Roy Dixon, Claude Dixon, Ransom Dixon and Clois Dixon; sisters, Harriet Ballard, Lillie Moak, Evelyn Ballard and A. D. Rushing.

Survivors are her daughter, Fannie McGrew; sons, Donald Fauver and Calvin Fauver and wife Cindy, all of Gum Grove Community; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
