Funeral services for David Eugene Wilson (Parson Delacroix), was held Thursday, May 31, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with burial at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation was held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 5 until 9 p.m. the funeral home and continued Thursday, May 31, 2018, from 9 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Mr. Wilson, 55, died Monday, May 28, 2018. He was born July 26, 1962, to George and Mary Locke Wilson, in Oxford. He was a member of the Mississippi Peacemakers, SASS, enjoyed reloading and hunting. He earned his bachelor of science in forestry from Mississippi State University and a master of divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Wilson; and great-nephew, Arrington Michael Wilson.

Survivors are his father, George R. Wilson Sr.; brothers, George Wilson Jr. and James Wilson; sister, Alicia Wilson; nephews, Brett and James Everett; nieces, Hannah, Victoria and Georgia; and great-niece, Ardynn.
