Funeral services for Gustavia “Soup” Carter, of Brookhaven, are Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Williams Mortuary Chapel in Brookhaven with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 5, 2018, from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Carter, 89, died Monday, May 28, 2018, at her residence. She was born Nov. 24, 1928, to Henry Johnson and Mary Thompson Johnson.
