2 men die in weekend crashes in Lincoln, Lawrence counties

Two men were killed in separate vehicle accidents over the weekend.
A Brookhaven man died in a one-vehicle collision early Sunday morning.
Randy Mackabee, 46, was driving his 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck south on East Lincoln Road between East Monticello Street and Hwy. 84 around 1 a.m. He ran off the left-hand side of the road and hit a tree, Lincoln County Coroner Clay McMorris said.
Mackabee was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
A Kokomo man died Friday in a one-vehicle accident.
Landon S. Williamson, 25, was killed when his 2004 Lincoln left Hwy. 27 and hit a tree about 6:43 a.m., said Cpl. Brandon Fortenberry with the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
That accident remains under investigation by MHP.
