Police: Dallas woman kills husband for beating their cat
DALLAS — A 47-year-old Dallas woman is accused of killing her husband because she said he was beating their pet cat.
KTVT, a television station in Dallas, reports that Dexter Harrison, 49, was shot and killed Saturday and that his wife, Mary Harrison, confessed to the killing him during questioning by police.
The cat has recently gone missing and the Harrisons posted flyers around the neighborhood before the cat was returned home, the KTVT report said.
As of Sunday night, Harrison was being held in Dallas County jail on a $100,000 bond.
