Mr. Oswalt, 58, died Saturday, June 23, 2018, at his residence after a long courageous battle with cancer with his loving family by his side. He was born July 2, 1959, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to Carnard V. Oswalt and Elizabeth Adair Oswalt. He was a loving husband, dad, brother and friend to many. His motto after being diagnosed in 2016 was “Cancer is living with me, I’m not living with cancer.” He lived life to the fullest until the last week of his life. He was a retired truck driver, but spent his retired life camping and fishing with his family and piddling in his shed fixing things.
Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Brenda Melton; and niece, Stacey Adair.
Survivors are his wife of 19 years, Paula Marie Oswalt; sons, Thomas V. Oswalt Jr., Daniel Delaney, Anthony Oswalt, and Kyle Oswalt; brothers, Raymond Adair (Susan), Randolph Letell (Dianna) and William Oswalt (Louise); sisters, Mary Hardeman, Julie Oswalt and Becky Millien (Jeff); good friend Larry Easley; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
All family and friends are invited to the services. Flowers are appreciated but not required.
