Several soldiers with the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team — including two from Brookhaven — send shout-outs to their friends and families at home. Two of those featured are Sgt. Shalanda Brent at :21 in the video and Sgt. 1st Class Lee Stringer at 1:56.

The troops are deployed to Camp Buehring, Kuwait, in support of Operation Spartan Shield, which is a combined forces contingency operation within Central Command’s area of responsibility.
