Funeral services for Claudia Darlene Trott, of Ruth, are today, July 10, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Ruth Baptist Church. Bro. Tim Allred and Bro. Dwayne Dunaway will officiate the services. Sharkey Funeral Home in Summit is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation was held Monday, July 9, 2018, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home and will continue today, July 10, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Trott, 54, died Friday, July 6, 2018. She was born April 24, 1964, in Pike County, to Claude and Mary Maude Sumrall Clark. She was a member of Ruth Baptist Church. She was homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and her puppies. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Claude Clark Jr.

Survivors are her husband of 16 years, Walter Trott; son, Scott Smith, of Ruth; stepchildren, Michael Trott, Damon Broome and Karen Broome; sister, Gwen Dunaway and husband, Dwayne, of Magnolia, and Pat Lofton, of Bogue Chitto; brother, Richard Clark, of Ruth; sister-in-law, Donna Hodges, of Jackson; grandchildren, Abigail Smith, Leyton Henagan, Noah Smith, Lancy Trott, Lakyn Trott and Landon Trott; daughter-in-law, Julia Cannon; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers are Taylor Clark, Layke Smith, David Smith, Jason Williams, Kai Cartwright and Erik Clark. Honorary pallbearers are Leyton Henagan and Greg Smith.
