Fire reports

The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to an incident where Jaws of Life were needed at 8:46 a.m. on Hwy. 84 East near Jackson Liberty Drive Tuesday. They responded to possible car fire at 12:31 p.m. on Hwy. 51 N. No injuries were reported. They also responded to a false alarm at KDMC.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a vehicle accident without injuries at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday on Hwy. 84 near Jackson Liberty Drive. They responded to a vehicle accident at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday on I-55 southbound near mile-marker 47. No injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 16 calls Tuesday. Seven were transfers, with two to Jackson, one to New Orleans and two to Pike County, with two in the city. There were nine emergency calls; eight medical, with five in the city and three in the county; one trauma in the city.
